Floor Hardeners in Bangladesh

To improve Floor Hardeners & as well as Non-Metallic Floor Hardeners . These improve the wear and abrasion resistance of the slabs and help in increasing the life of industrial floors and slabs on ground. When used along with our polypropylene fibres (for improving impact resistance), an excellent quality Impact and Abrasion Resistant flooring is achieved. With proper mix design and slab design given by the consulting engineers, Crack Control Steel (Welded Wire Mesh) can be eliminated from floor slabs.

Floor Hardener is ideal cost effective wear resistant top coat for heavy duty industrial floors / slabs.

Floor Hardener- Car parks Usage: Special grade: 3-7 kg/m 2 Regular grade: 4-8 kg/m 2 These should not be used in floors that are exposed to strong inorganic acids, their salts and liquid spillages.

Application on freshly laid concrete floors: Broadcast on fresh concrete slabs while the concrete is green but sufficiently set to take applicator weights (ideally able to limit foot impression to 3 mm depth).

This should be done immediately after bleed water has evaporated. Spray 50% of total quantity & hand trowel. Spray the balance 50% at 90 Deg to first spray & hand trowel.

Apply power float when surface sheen starts to disappear. This helps close pores & capillaries. Cure using wet burlap / gunny bags.

Avoid any traffic till the concrete has fully set & achieved design strength. Application as granolithic topping on existing floors: In this case a top screed of 12-50 mm is required on existing floor.

Typical mix design is DURONITE 50kg : Cement 200kg : Grit (3-6 mm) 600kg. Super-plasticisers to be used. W:C ratio to be 0.38-0.42.

However this needs to be confirmed by structural designers. Use of PP fibers (STRONGPLAST / NOKRACK) @ 125 gm / 50 kg cement would give additional crack & impact resistance.

Product Details

This chemically surface treated 100% Virgin high tenacity polypropylene straight fibre based cement, mortar (plaster) and concrete additive and is available in graded lengths. It provides 3-D micro-reinforcement to plasters as well as concretes. These are available in multiples of 3 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm. This product is used @ 0.9 kg /mof plaster or concrete (minimum). STRONGPLAST complies with ASTM C 1116 and ACI committee report 544-1R.

The key actions of STRONGPLAST are as follows

  1. Provides inherence micro-reinforcement against shrinkage and intrinsic cracking.
  2. Reduces rebound losses in plasters to 60-70%.
  3. Reduces bleeding and dust formation in concrete.
  4. Improves impact resistance 3-4 times.
  5. Improves abrasion resistance by 30-40%.
  6. Gives residual strength to concrete thereby helping reduce sudden failures. This is a desirable characteristic of concrete in areas prone to earthquakes.
  7. Reduces permeability and thus protects interior paint in plasters.
  8. Reduction in permeability also helps protect reinforcement steel in concrete applications.
  9. Makes the concrete more durable.
  10. Makes hardened concrete more tough.
  11. Improves speed and finishing of plasters.
